Yesterday was such a long day of work, grocery shopping, and making dinner and soup(recipe coming later this week) until 10p. Because of the chaos last night’s sleep was super restless. I maybe got 4 hours of total sleep and the other 4 were spent wide awake. So since I was up long before the alarm I decided to get up, but instead of going through my workout clothes I grabbed pants off the floor and just went with those.
Turns out that wasn’t the best idea because they were really hot and I wasn’t as upbeat during my workout as I normally would be in shorts. This dilemma got me thinking, I never wear pants when I workout.
I don’t know why, but I always wear shorts or knee-length capri tights when I work out. Even when it’s cold I don’t really like long pants and go for a mid calf length. It sounds strange, but I kind of like cold legs. I might like running tights, but that expense will have to wait until after my socks.
The upside of my overly hot and not fun workout was coming home to a pot of already made coffee and a green smoothie.

I am EXACTLY the same way! Wearing pants just feels wrong and constrictive and too warm – unless I’m running outside!
My legs get hot way faster than the rest of my body too, weird.

I’m the exact same way on the whole pants vs shorts. I find pants to be so discomforting, and way to warm for my liking!
