I don’t know what got into me today but I worked out twice. TWICE!!!! Kind of ridiculous I know but it wasn’t planned and just happened. My first workout was planned for 6 this morning when the alarm went off with an annoying sound I don’t remembering saving. Loud siren sounds will really get your attention when the sun isn’t even up. I did some elliptical work but mostly worked on my core.
I was super tired after that workout, but couldn’t go back to bed since I had to start my day. Bummer.
After a good breakfast and tons of coffee I was wide awake and ready to take on the day! It turned out to be really pretty today so when I got home mid afternoon I took Harper on a nice run. It may have been the leftover coffee but I was really in the mood for running. It was only about 2 miles, but it was enough for Harper.
I don’t even know what she’s doing here. It didn’t hurt that she was off her leash the whole time doing sprints passed me and going back and forth. She really loves being free and doing whatever she wants, and since she has me wrapped around her paw that pretty much sums up her life;)
The rest of the day we spent watching DVR and searching online for cute Spring dresses. The dresses were more me than Harper, but you guessed that right? haha
Dinner was leftover brussel sprouts and the sweet potato that I made last night but never ate.
And dessert was another chocolate, or two;)
Hope you had a great day!
Do you ever workout twice on a whim?

Well, tomorrow is my first two-a-day. Gotta say I’m nervous. Nothing too drastic, but this is HUGE for me. I’m training for my first half marathon in February. I ran a 5k last weekend, but I’m getting nervous for the half. Sooooo, after doing a darn Jillian Michaels dvd tonight, I’m getting up and running 2 miles. Then after work, I’ll do a 30-minute weight workout.
I only have 4 1/2 weeks left before the race, so it’s A game time. Going to try to do this twice a week, but after the half….no more two-a-days
That’s great! Jillian DVD’s helped me strength train for my first 1/2 too. Good luck!
