I have a confession to make. I took the below picture of avocado chocolate pudding without actually tasting it with anticipation of posting the recipe. I tasted it before I hit publish and it was TERRIBLE!!!
Ugh! I don’t know what I was thinking wasting perfectly good avocados on gross chocolate pudding when I could’ve used them for delicious guacamole. Yuck and Yuck! I obviously couldn’t lie about how the vegan chocolate pudding tasted so I scrapped the whole thing. Thank Goodness!
I’ve had vegan chocolate pudding many a time and
loved liked it but this time was not so great. I’ve always wanted to try out a recipe for the popular chocolate dessert, but realize that some recipes are not meant to be recreated by everyone. There are many other chocolate recipes I can make and be happy with so I’ll try those instead and be glad that I at least went outside my comfort zone.
Luckily my other recent eats have turned out way better.
This green salad topped with peas, kale, cucumbers, corn, sunflower seeds, and chicken with pineapple and watermelon on the side.
Spring green salad with dried cranberries, tuna, and hidden broccoli.
Spinach topped with yellow and heirloom tomatoes, boiled eggs, onions, mushrooms, and steak.
This is just a hodge podge of everything on the salad and hot bar at Whole Foods. Sometimes I just can’t decide so I got salad, broccoli crunch salad, curry chicken, and curried rice. So good!
Smoothies have been off and on between cereal or english muffins and eggs.
But my favorite breakfast was this weekend when we headed to brunch after a big Crossfit workout.
Grits bowl with eggs, cheese, bacon, and shrimp. If you live in Atlanta and haven’t eaten at Le Petit Marche then you must go very soon.
Have you ever made a bad recipe? What’s been your favorite meal lately?
