This is my favorite holiday hands down. This morning Travis and I woke up bright and early for the 1/2 marathon.
I don’t usually eat before I run, but since it was over an hour before we started I had some yogurt with strawberry jam and Kashi.
Yesterday when I got home from work(my last day) we grabbed some sandwiches for lunch that were enormous.
Because they were so big I only ate half and saved the other half for dinner. I know lots of people carb load before races, but I’m not one of those people. Last year we had bbq sandwiches and tater tots so I figured I was ok to have a non-pasta meal.
We both finished better than we did last year, but are still super sore.
We’re off to Alabama so a post race recap will be soon. Now off to eat all I want;)
