Today seemed like such a blur. Short weeks are great but can also be a drag having to cram five days of work into four days. I love having a Monday off occasionally, but sometimes it really messes with me and I forget what the days are the rest of the week.
That is exactly what happened this morning when I woke up and realized it was Tuesday instead of Monday. I had missed BodyPump and was frazzled the remainder of the day.
Luckily my gym offers it in the evenings too so I didn’t totally miss out. It actually worked out in my favor as a great way for me to de-stress after a long day.
With rain and super cool weather all day I was glad to come home from a great workout to take out!
It’s dangerous living so close to a Mexican/Cuban restaurant. Being able to walk there means we eat it way too often, but it’s so worth it! Fish tacos with black beans and rice are my favorite.
Now I can curl up with my book on a full tummy and enjoy the evening. It’s not quite fall yet but the overcast rainy weather puts me in the mindset of reading before bed with tea so that’s what I plan on doing.
