It’s so HOT. I’m talking humidity at 90% and temps in the 90′s and rising HOT.
Tonight after work we all had a “field day” as a fun way to do something outside of work and hang out. I grabbed Harper and headed to the park where we played all the fun team games in a relay like three-legged race, dodge ball, tug of war, etc. By the end I was super hot, sticky, and tired.
It was still really fun though and great to play games I haven’t played since third grade.
The weekend was pretty relaxed since we didn’t have any major plans besides housework, and snuggling with this little one.
Since Travis wanted to work on our project I knew I wouldn’t have much to do in this phase, but I had made a hair appt and spent my afternoon there instead.
I wasn’t home for the majority of the afternoon so I wasn’t able to keep an hourly snack routine. I got a text from Travis saying he was hungry around 4:30( I had left at 12) so when I got home we started planning dinner. We had tons of veggies so we went to the butcher and grabbed a steak to share for a nice Saturday night dinner.
Sunday was pretty low-key too after the normal grocery shopping, taking Harper on a run, dog park, and laundry. We spent a lot of time outside and by the time 4 o’clock rolled around we were really hungry and decided to have a super early bird dinner. I was worried we would be starved by 8 or 9, but we only had a little hunger pang that was quickly resolved with a little yogurt.
This one is the Almond Butter dairy free I’ve been wanting to try for so long. It was really good and worth the wait;)
