Fall Beauty Picks

September 20, 2012

I’m feeling the season transition and I’m feeling it mostly in my sinuses. I thought a quick run this morning in the nice cool air would help to loosen everything up, but I’m still waiting.

Only a few more days until it’s officially Fall, and though I was adamant about staying in Summer I’m ready to get Fall started. For our anniversary Travis got me a beautiful arrangement in my favorite colors(yellows) and having them displayed makes me think of pumpkins, turning leaves, cool, air, etc.

In addition to having my flowers I went ahead and started displaying my seasonal decor to spruce up the place and trying some new makeup shades too.

I’ve said before how I don’t usually stick with the same shades everyday and with Fall around the corner I’ve been trying out new bronze looks, dark purples, grays, etc. I can’t get enough of all these great hues and think everyone should try them out. It’s a little intimidating trying out a new shade if you don’t play around with makeup, but you can make it as natural or as dramatic as you want.

That’s pretty much all I’ve done so far. I’m waiting to break out the soups, flavored teas, and pumpkin recipes until it’s officially Fall. In the mean time I’ve been shopping around for some Fall beauty items I can splurge on right when the time hits.

Anything that smells like sugar is my favorite. This Maple scented bubble bath would be perfect for soaking after a cool rainey Fall day. Or make you crave pancakes.

And if the eyeshadow shades are too much for you, try a darker shade on your lips.

This set has multiple colors so it’s more bang for your buck. And when you mix a few together you can really play up a night look for a night out!

Do you have a Fall beauty favorite?

I rarely wear makeup, but now I want to–I love those shades! Maple-scented bubble bath? That sounds amazingly luxurious. And also like I’d probably try to eat it. Just a taste. Just in case…

Hahaha, I would be tempted to try it too. Like flavored lip smackers in middle school;)

I’ve been wanting to change things up with my colors, but I have no idea what to do. Maybe it’s time to experiment with the bronze/golds!

I started using Lancome’s base and eye brow pencil recently and am loving them both!

I love Lancome colors. They last all day.
