I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the weekend. I only have tomorrow off from work, but I’ll gladly take it. It’s just been one of those weeks where I feel really tired and worn out. Because of this I’ve turned to my trusty vice…coffee.
Last night we had a cook out for our friend Jimmy’s b-day and I had way too much great food, if that’s possible, and could really feel it this morning. I’m not complaining though, I love a good burger.
Travis was manning the grill and everything turned out great! His helper wasn’t much help, but she provided some entertainment by begging.
This morning I knew a workout would be beneficial so once I had taken Harper on a walk I hit the gym. To be honest I wasn’t fully into it, but I finished 45 minutes of cardio and did some ab work before calling it a day.
I use to love doing abs, but now it’s one of my most dreaded workouts. I would rather do sprints and squats than a plank or crunch. Clearly this means I need more core work, but it’s just one of those body parts I don’t like working out. There are enough flowy tops out there to keep me happy with my mid section;)
Tomorrow is going to be a scorcher so I’m getting my run in early and taking advantage of my only day off this weekend. I see air conditioning in my future, but I’m thinking Travis has a hike on his mind so we’ll see.
