Call Me Honey Badger

November 17, 2011

You’re familiar with the Honey Badger, right?
If so, you’re also familiar with the fact that “He doesn’t give a shit”.
Well, that’s exactly how I felt earlier today.
Travis is in NY for work so this morning I was on dog duty. I took Harper on a run and it was cooler than I expected. She was excited, but I wasn’t that into the exercise. I’m glad I got in a workout first thing, but my mind wasn’t in it 100%. I blame the weather.
After I had my 2 cups of coffee I felt much better. It was just that feeling you get when you have so much to do and you don’t want to do any of it.
After giving my notice I feel like I’ve been given a ton more work than I normally would have and it’s wearing me out by the end of the day. I’m not complaining and glad to do it, but geez. I have a ton of homework to finish before Saturday( it’s not due I just gave myself that deadline), Spa test to study for, dessert recipes to make for next week, mounds of laundry to do, etc. It’s a lot going on and I want everything done before Thanksgiving.
Also the past two weeks I’ve drawn a blank about Girly Things Thursday topics. I have a couple of holiday ones for December in mind, but I’m taking any suggestions on skin, makeup, etc.
Tonight I’m joining other Atlanta bloggers for dinner and to catch up. I can’t wait and look forward to hanging out with such great ladies!
Do you ever have days where you just don’t care to do anything?

Haha – I am in the same boat. I think it’s “holiday mode” too. Oy.

Ideas… I’ve been seeing some cool nail designs on Pinterest but I have no idea how to do it myself. Are you good at nails?

Can’t wait to see you tonight!

I feel like that right now. I don’t want to go to work. I want to put my pj’s back on and crawl into my warm bed and sleep for a few more hours.
